Body beautiful

These beautiful photos snipped from this site, and this one, and this one. Do men realize that their feet are sexy?

Requiem "Bye Bye Baby"

I had a scale model called the "Visible Woman" when I was a kid. But her organs never fit properly with her belly plate on, pregnant or otherwise. I would like to have this one instead.

A four week old embryo in intact sac of amniotic fluid. Following the termination of an ectopic pregnancy, apparently. A beautiful photo even so, taken by medical photographer Robert Wolfe.

For those who enjoy medical imaging, the third picture was taken from this interesting site on human embryo development, where you can see MRI sections from embryos at various stages.

Matryoshka miscarriage.

Food and drink, yum yums

An interesting take on perrier. Heh.

And this seems so, so...ok, words elude me. I know we eat oysters alive, but really! This is just so, so....Gee men are weird.

This one seems much more humane, and a great deal funnier.

Octopus action!

OK now this is cute. A music video about an octopus who counts in binary. A must see!

Amazing octopus escape video!

Amazing octopus camouflage video!

Gimmie Gimmie Octopus is a truly weird Japanese animated show in which an octopus and a peanut vie for the affections of a walrus. Yes, that does sound like a bunch of translation errors, but I kid you not. And I think it's best not to even try to understand. It appears, however, that the octopus and the walrus had sex at least once...hence baby. What they do with the baby...again, understanding seems far.

Knitted anatomy

Um...what to say. Who thinks these things up? Apparently some designers over here.

You can knit your own uterus with this pattern.

So, the cables are supposed to realistic veins. Except stiched. And woolly. :)

An alternative to the usual knitted sex parts, the knitted GI tract makes an interesting project. Clipped from here.

Mini stone things

Have I confessed yet, my love of small things?

Things that make you go hmmm...

What more can I say?

Dem bones

Font. Way cool.

If I had a castle in the fog...

Elegant paper sculptures. Now why didn't I think of that!

Blaschka flowers

More Blashka glass. It's very difficult to find his flowers on line.
